I've had 2 episodes of acute pancreatitis in the past. Recently, I've been feeling extremely tired, have to go pee very often during the day, have shortness of breath, and my belly is swollen. I went for an ultrasound and blood work, and my blood was very thick, my pancreas was a little swollen, and there is some fluid around my left kidney. I'm wondering if it is chronic pancreatitis or if it could be something else.

Nearly every day for the last several months, I typically experience three bowel movements a day, about two hours apart, during which I experience severe muscle contractions, bleeding, and pain. I reported this to my doctor about a month ago and he instructed me to take Citrucel for additional fiber. To date, these symptoms still persist. I am a 63-year-old male.
