I had a fall on my left knee on cobblestone ground almost 6 weeks ago. I have sharp pain in the center of my kneecap, it still looks swollen compared to my right knee, and I have trouble bending my knee for activities like climbing stairs. X-rays showed no break, and an MRI revealed bruising to the soft tissue and an old tear. My GP hasn't prescribed any further treatment unless I want to see an orthopedic surgeon. I can't do my normal daily walking or yoga, and even gentle touches to the kneecap cause pain. What further treatment options do I have?

I had bronchitis last month and was treated with arithromiacin. I felt better after a week, but now I have a pounding headache, vomiting, stiff all over, hot flashes, nausea, and a dull headache. I've had the headache all day and took 3 Advil. I don't have insurance and haven't seen a doctor. I'm 53, was treated for migraines before menopause, and have arthritis, but no meds for 5 years. I also had diarrhea this morning and constant sweats then chills. I've had two parasites over the last 20 years, Cryptosporidiosis. Is it possible I have it again? Should I stay home from work while my body is fighting this?

My wife is home in bed with stage 4 cancer, which has spread to her lungs, bones, and brain. She is on a catheter, and her urine output has turned cloudy and frothy over the last 24 hours with no particular odor. Does this warrant a call to her on-call doctor?

I've been on Nefazadone (Serzone) for 15 years and am experiencing severe, new symptoms such as hives, skin rash, heartburn, pruritus, eczema, cellulitis, and dry eye. Could these symptoms be a reaction to Nefazadone after all these years, and if so, what are suitable alternatives for treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, type 2 bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder?
