My cousin is 43 years old and woke up with bruises everywhere. She didn't fall or experience any trauma, but she did have COVID about a month ago and has since recovered. Could this be related to her recent illness or her condition of Chiari malformation, for which she takes Topamax?

I have suffered from costochondritis for years. Recently, after lifting a heavy garbage bag, I experienced sharp piercing pain under my breast, in the 6th rib area, which is tender and hurts to breathe. The pain lasts only seconds and is followed by a pop or bubble sensation. Is this a muscle injury, tendons, nerves, or something more serious?
