My dad is stage 5 colon cancer and was given 6 months to live in January 2010. He is 82 years old, has had surgery, and is on pain medication. He is under home hospice care and has poor food intake, with occasional vomiting. What signs should I look for to indicate he is nearing the end, and how accurate are the time estimates given by doctors?

Is it possible to have a diagnosed distorted sleep pattern with no REM and still have some good and some bad dreams? Sometimes they seem to linger in my mind all day. I take Clonazepam 1mg at bedtime.

I have little lumps in the bottom of my belly, they are like glands but are bugging me because I don't know what they are. They are not that big, the biggest one feels like a little smaller than a pea, there is no itching, and they are under the skin. I only noticed them last night because I was feeling a bit bloated. I am worried that this could be a sign of cervical cancer or something like that. Do you know what they could be?

I am a 22-year-old active male. Recently, I started experiencing a weird discomfort in my chest that is not a pain, burning, aching, or dull sensation. It is a discomfort that feels abnormal and comes and goes. It does not worsen with breathing or physical activity, and there are no other symptoms like fever, cough, or congestion. The discomfort is located on the sides of my chest, under the armpit, and in the front nipple area and above. It does not radiate or move, and there is no pain when pressing on the chest. I usually work out and run four times a week, but I have been nervous about this chest issue. What could this discomfort be, and what should I do about it?

I'm 34 years old and recently diagnosed with a sinus infection. I've been on amoxicillin 875 mg twice a day, singulair 10 mg a day, cheratussin 1 tsp at bedtime, and decon dmx in the evening for 6 days. I still don't feel 100%. In the past two days, I've developed what I think is a yeast infection (itchiness) and my nipples are very itchy. I also have a bad taste in my mouth that won't leave along with nausea. What do you think is going on?
