My daughter, aged 14, has to undergo minimally invasive surgery for bilateral juvenile bunions in December. She has been advised to get a CBC and CMP test for clearance. I am nervous and worried that they might find something wrong with her, especially considering the history of cancer and diabetes in my family. What should I look for if she were to have a serious condition like leukemia or kidney disease, and what are the chances that she won't have anything wrong?
