My diastolic blood pressure is consistently high, averaging 140/100 while sitting and rising to 155/136 after walking. I've experienced four hypertensive crises in the past three weeks and have called an ambulance three times. My doctor prescribed Telmisartan 40mg but did not refer me to a cardiologist. What could be causing such high diastolic readings, and should I see a different doctor or a cardiologist?

I’m struggling with my sexuality. I’ve always been predominantly straight, but 3 years ago, I started feeling attracted to the same sex. I’ve never been with anyone of the same sex and do not wish to have a physical or emotional relationship with them, but I occasionally think about the same sex when I’m turned on, which then goes away. I feel disgusted with myself and am at risk of losing my marriage. How long has this been a concern? Have you spoken to a mental health professional about this? How have you been sleeping? Any changes in appetite? How would you like to connect with the Psychologist - phone call or online chat?
