My friend, a 36-year-old male, has been experiencing symptoms such as weight loss, yellowing of the eyes, frequent vomiting, occasional chest pain, upper abdominal pain, dark urine, diarrhea, and a change in bowel movements for over two months. He has been to the ER twice, where they did an x-ray for gallstones and blood tests for hepatitis, all of which came back normal. What could be causing these symptoms, and what further tests should be considered?

I have a stretched or torn tendon in my ring finger that causes it to curl inward and snap when I try to straighten it, especially when not wearing a finger splint. I am 75 years old and very active. What is the recommended treatment for this condition?

I am worried about cancer due to weight loss, undigested food in stool, constipation, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and bloating. My doctor suspected IBS and I tried the FODMAP diet, which improved my symptoms but is hard to follow. I've lost weight from 112 to 103 lbs and now fluctuate between 100-102 lbs. I exercise regularly but my appetite varies greatly. Is it likely I have cancer since weight loss occurred? Can this occur with fructose issues? And is this fructose thing considered malabsorption? I'm also lactose intolerant.
