I am trying to find a pain management physician. I have persistent joint problems without a definite diagnosis. I took various tests for Rheumatoid Arthritis, which came back 'ok'. Do you think a pain management specialist would see me, and what is used to treat RA? Also, is there any way to get pain management help online or immediate relief on weekends?

My wife underwent a laparotomy for the removal of an ovarian cyst and endometriosis tissue. She is experiencing on and off cramping in her stomach, which seems similar to the pain she gets at the end of her periods, and has a distended abdomen. She has had bowel movements and her urine is fine. Is stomach cramping and gas a common side effect of this type of procedure?

This is an x-ray of my mother's hip. The bottom part of the hip has broken away, likely due to an accident she had about 4 years ago. The two fractures at the top seem related to that incident. My question is, as there is no support at the bottom of the hip, is it possible that the hip could break away completely, and is there anything that can be done about it? My mother is in her 80s, and I am her 57-year-old son.

I have had diarrhea all day since I woke up this morning. It is now past midnight, and only water seems to be passing. I have had rice, soup, Gatorade, water, and chamomile tea. There is cramping on the upper part of my tummy, and when I stand, I feel it more on the bottom right of my stomach and the left side of my back. I took Tums and Imodium today, but Imodium didn't really help. The Tums has helped with burping. What can I do to help the diarrhea stop?
