My husband has been experiencing severe back spasms for about a week, which have been temporarily relieved by a sports doctor but returned. He is unable to function due to the pain. The doctor suggested it's muscular, but without imaging studies, how can they be sure? Is it possible to have back spasms for a week or more, and could it be something more serious?

The back spasms your husband is experiencing are likely due to a muscular pull or nerve compression....

I keep getting fever blisters on my chin. They don't seem to go away despite using Denavir, taking L-lysine, and Minocin. I am very stressed and desperate. What should I do?

I was hit in the head and neck by an 80 lb dog, and I heard a pop and crack in my neck. Now, after 24 hours, it still hurts, and I've tried heat, creams, and ointments. Are there any immediate concerns or steps I should take?

I have red spots under my foreskin that are faint and not raised, and a general sense of irritation in my penis. I also have an itchy rectum, which has been ongoing for years. I recently had an STD check and urine analysis, all of which were normal except for not checking for gonorrhea. What could be causing these symptoms, and what can I do to alleviate them?
