My husband is experiencing stomach issues such as swelling and difficulty breathing. He has had this for about a month, uses medication for bloating, and the swelling worsens when he eats. He has not had a physical doctor's visit for this issue. What could be causing this and what can be done to alleviate his symptoms?

I accidentally ate off of someone with oral gonorrhea and drank off of them. Since then, I’ve been having a really horrible sore throat and it’s hard for me to swallow and drink things. Could this be related to the saliva or backwash from the person?

I'm an alcoholic with bad gastric reflux. I've been drinking alcoholically since I was around 11. I recently started taking a PPI and feel much better, but I'm worried that it might mask symptoms of gastric cancer or pancreatic cancer. I have a family history of gastric cancer and severe depression and am bipolar. I'm concerned about the extent to which taking a PPI can mask symptoms of serious illnesses and what other signs I should look for.

I am experiencing sharp pain on my lower right side, which comes and goes, lasting from 1 to 3 seconds, about 6 times. The pain started yesterday and today, and I have not used any medication. I am a 64-year-old male with no known medical conditions, but I have had kidney stones in the past. The pain is located on my side/flank. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do about it?
