My husband is fighting prostate cancer and is on Fentanyl patches 25mcg/hr to be changed every two days and taking percocet every four hours. He is suffering from severe pain and we are wondering if he could take one of his oxycontin 10mg tablets or if it would be too dangerous considering the other meds he is on. The patch was put on yesterday at 6 and the percocet was taken two hours ago.

I ran out of metoprolol for a day or two so I used some of my dad's metoprolol tartrate instead. I am taking 50mg of the metoprolol so I was wondering what an equivalent dosage of metoprolol tartrate would be. I also would like to know if there is any possible harm in taking the tartrate instead of the regular metoprolol.

Can I abruptly stop taking cholesterol medication (colestipol) and acid reflux medication (PROTONIX) if they are causing muscle pain/ache and weakness, and is there a risk of higher stroke/blockage or other complications from stopping these medications abruptly?

My husband is 84, generally in good health but lately has been experiencing shaking, weakness, and balance issues, requiring a walking stick. He recently had a normal brain scan and MRI. Today, he experienced a sudden episode of weakness and confusion while reaching into a cupboard, which resolved on its own. He is currently sleeping and says he feels fine. Should we wait until Monday to see a doctor or take him to the emergency room now, despite his current well-being?

I am experiencing symptoms of post nasal drip and have been using Fluticasone Propionate for a month, but it doesn't seem to be working. Is Fluticasone Propionate not supposed to address post nasal drip symptoms?
