My mother has been in the hospital for 5 weeks, and her liver screen was normal. However, a CT scan previously reported as NAD now shows a 'spot' on her liver. Her LFTs were normal up to June and only slightly elevated due to antibiotics. The intern was dismissive, stating it doesn't matter how many scans they do due to her age. I'm a nurse and believe a normal liver screen is a good sign, but the intern said it doesn't mean anything. Is the normal liver screen a good indicator that it's unlikely to be cancer?

When I bend down or with sudden movements, I feel dizzy, off balance, and pressure going up my neck, causing a whooshing sound in my ears. What could be causing this?

I have stomach pain, a lot of gas, and diarrhea. I am taking Prevacid but it's not working. I am more concerned about the diarrhea. Is this normal?

I have a very large moving mass within me that latches onto my stomach when I eat, causing pain and preventing me from standing erect. I also experience a sucking sensation during bowel movements that pulls stool back inside. I suspect this mass may be a parasite, as it exhibits magnetic qualities and responds to mebendazole. What could this mass be, and how can I get a definitive diagnosis and treatment?

I was diagnosed with anxiety depression a year ago and have been on fluoxetine since. I've seen numerous psychologists and counselors, but I still feel there's something more. I experience episodes of depression, low motivation, fatigue, and blankness, as well as days of hyperactivity, mood swings, and impulsive behaviors like overspending and booking random holidays. There's no pattern to these episodes, and I'm getting fed up because no one can help me or tell me what's wrong.
