My partner, a 24-year-old male with allergies and sensitive intestines, has been experiencing abdominal pain (stabbing) that comes in waves, shivers, a possible fever, constipation, and diarrhea for 36 hours. The pain is localized in the right lower abdomen, similar to appendicitis but was told by a nurse it's not that. What could be causing these symptoms and what should we do?

I have tenderness on my left leg, about 3-4 inches above the ankle, which is tender when barely brushed over. It has been going on for about 4 days, with periods of increased soreness at night that subsides by morning. I am 25 years old, taking normal vitamins, and do not recall any recent injury. What could be causing this tenderness and what can be done about it?
