Maria R. asked
My wife has a boil, about the size of a pingpong ball, and she is in a lot of pain. She has had it for about 48 hours, and has been using warm compresses, epsom salt baths, ibuprofen, and antibiotic ointment. She is not diabetic but has high blood pressure. What can be done to help her, and is it necessary to go to the ER?

I have had sudden onset abdominal and back pain for 3 days now. I have taken Panadol, but the pain persists. I have also experienced slight fever, nausea, and fatigue. The pain ranges from a 4 to an 8 with cramps, and Buscopan provided some relief but not much. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do?
