My wife is bi-polar, has deep depression, severe headaches, and is on multiple medications including diazepam, stavzor, spironolactone, clonazepam, lamotrigine, venlafaxine, aspirin, red yeast rice, B12, garlic, omega 3 fish oil, a daily women's vitamin, vitamin E, ibuprofen, excedrin, trazodone, levetiracetam, cyclobenzaprine, and an unknown super caffeine pill. She is experiencing forgetfulness, loss of balance, body jerks during sleep, loss of appetite, craving for sweets, excessive sleep, lack of energy, and minimal contact with family. Do you think she is being over-medicated and what should be done?

My girlfriend had surgery to remove a tumor in October 2009. Since then, she has had about 10 episodes which I think are seizures. During these episodes, she can't talk or move, her eyes move rapidly, she has no control of her head, and she experiences blurred vision. This lasts for about 10 minutes, and afterward, she feels dizzy and sick to her stomach for almost an hour. She then usually lies down until she feels better, which takes at least another hour. I know even after a surgery like that, this can't be normal, right?

I am a 32-year-old male with a history of mild abdominal pain in the lower left and right abdomen for about a month, which comes and goes. I am also experiencing 3 to 4 bowel movements a day, predominantly in the first half of the day, which were initially loose but are now slightly firmer. Additionally, I have noticed tingling sensations in my hands, feet, and legs, which are not painful but noticeable and irregular. I have had blood tests showing a high stored iron count and tested negative for celiac disease. Two stool tests were done, with the first testing positive for salmonella and the second being clear. I have a history of diarrhea caused by lactose and possibly wheat intolerance, and I am concerned about potential food allergies, stomach parasites, or anxiety issues due to a stressful family history and recent health scares. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
