My wife recently injured her right foot when a concrete paver fell on it. She iced it for the first couple of days and has been able to walk with some weight on it. Is it normal to see black bruising moving down her foot to her toes about a week later?

I went to the ER last night due to vertigo and was given meclizine. I seem to be fine now. The lab work showed my potassium was a little low at 3.2, with a reference range of 3.4 - 5.3. I just had this test 2 months ago and was normal as all my previous labs were. The ER doctor recommended three days of potassium supplements, which I am hesitant about due to my history of GERD and PUD. Is this .2 differential an issue, and should I take the supplements or re-take the blood work next week?

I recently tested positive for a high range 8.0 IGG for HSV2. What does this high range mean, and how does it relate to the duration of my infection? Additionally, what are the implications for my current treatment with Valtrex and my sexual activity?

My son and his family just returned from a 3-week vacation in Mongolia. Do I need to be concerned about them potentially carrying contamination to me? I'm a senior.

Is it possible to be pregnant and still bleed? I had pregnancy symptoms and a week later I decided to have my birth control (implant) removed out of my arm as it was expired. When I got the implant removed, I started bleeding. Before I got it removed, I started spotting and missed my period. Could I still be pregnant?

I have a runny nose, an occasional dry cough that comes and goes, and I'm coughing up yellow stuff. The cough prevents me from falling asleep at night. I'm using Strepsils lozenges to help. What could be causing this and what can I do to alleviate the symptoms?
