My wife was saving a baby raccoon and got scratched very slightly on her finger, just a dot-sized spot of broken skin. The raccoon had a can stuck on its head and she pulled it off, making it unlikely that saliva got in the wound. She does not have health insurance. Is it medically advisable for her to get the vaccine or is the risk of transmission extraordinarily low?

I am 30 weeks pregnant and concerned about potential listeriosis exposure. My husband defrosted a tightly sealed frozen fish package in the refrigerator, causing some thaw water to leak onto the shelf. I ate a packaged sealed sausage from the same tray but believe its packaging did not come into contact with the water. Should I be worried?

I feel a lot of pressure in the last two months, and I don't like to communicate with others. I like to stay alone, and I often feel that life is not fun. I feel very depressed every day, more and more serious, and have not taken any medication. Have you seen a doctor about this?

I have been on Klonopin for over a year and have never experienced increased depression or thoughts of suicide. However, I recently started birth control and have been feeling moody. I'm wondering if the moodiness is due to the birth control or if it could be related to my Klonopin. Does increased depression or thoughts of suicide usually occur when first starting Klonopin, or can it happen at any time?
