I have been experiencing symptoms of prostatitis for five months, including redness around the urethral opening, penile pain, extreme tip sensitivity, rectal pain, perineal pain, penile/testicular pain, dribbling after urination, and redness around the urethral opening. I am 37 years old, on Quercetin, Amitriptyline for prostatitis, and Metoprolol for my heart. I have been prescribed Amoxicillin, Bactrim, Levaquin, and Doxycycline. A cystoscopy and testicular ultrasound were unremarkable, but the ultrasound found bilateral hydroceles with debris. I have also had PCR testing for various infections, all negative. My symptoms persist despite treatment. What could be causing these symptoms and what further steps should I take?
