I have OCD about HIV and have been tested multiple times, all negative. My boyfriend won't get tested because he believes my negative results mean he's also fine. We are both faithful and have had another child together. What are the chances he has HIV if we are both faithful? Also, he was told he may have glaucoma by an eye doctor. Would the eye doctor refer him for an HIV test if they saw signs of HIV, and can eye doctors detect signs of HIV?

Is it possible to get invasive staph from a needle poke without a visible abscess, and can this lead to septic arthritis? I was given Keflex for strep and rheumatic fever, and now I have joint pains in my right hip, knees, and right ankle. Could this be septic arthritis or a combination of strep and staph? My doctor said staph would have an abscess or be eradicated by the immune system. Additionally, I had an allergic reaction to Zpack and stopped smoking and drinking due to strep complications. My CBC results are good, and I have no previous medical problems. Should I be concerned about septic arthritis, or could this be reactive arthritis from the strep infection?

I think I may have folliculitis on my scalp. I'm experiencing small, itchy red bumps and an oily scalp. It started with bumps on my armpits, and they told me it could be HS. What are the symptoms, and how long have you been dealing with this? Does anything in particular seem to make the itch better or worse? Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
