When laying down in bed on my back or side, my arm gets numb and tingly. It is usually my left arm and I never lay on my left side. I also have some back pain and tenderness on my side. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 81-year-old mother is experiencing erratic blood pressure (BP) ranging from 190/100 while lying or sitting to 50/20 when standing. She is symptomatic and currently in the hospital. She has hypertension and is on Micardis 80MG once daily and CARDIZEM 360mg once daily. All x-rays have been negative, and a kidney ultrasound is planned. What additional information or suggestions do you have?

I have been treated for depression and have been on cipramil for 2 years. I recently stopped taking it due to a chronic cough I believe it caused, and I want to improve my mood through diet and exercise. However, I have been told that I am perceived as negative and opinionated, which has made me feel worse. I have had an unhappy time in my current job and feel like I am drowning in my moods, which cycle from great to deep despair.
