I'm 23, 145 lbs, and healthy. For the past 3-4 days, my lymph nodes have been swollen, and for the last 2 days, my throat has hurt really bad to swallow, especially in the morning. Is there a good chance this is strep? Should I be taking medicine if so? I am already taking metronidazole as I was in Peru and think I may have caught a parasite. Not sure if that would help or if I could take another antibiotic at the same time.
