What can I take if my blood pressure is 150/97? I am 67 years old, not currently using any medications, and have had high blood pressure concerns all day with no symptoms. My husband takes atorvastatin 20mg a day.

I experience leg weakness and a higher heart rate (80-90) while walking, often needing to stop to recover. I carry a heavy bag for school and sometimes the dog pulls. There is also discomfort in my mid to lower back. I take Lipitor 40 mg, Metformin 1000mg ER, Lisinopril 10/12.50, Baby aspirin, Propanazole 40 mg, Zoloft 100 mg, and Clonopine 1 mg. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests should I consider?
