I'm 17 weeks pregnant and have bacterial vaginosis (BV). This is the second time I've had it, and I'm using Metrogel for the second time. I decided to take metronidazole pills (500 mg twice daily for 7 days) after using Metrogel once. Will this combination of one dose of Metrogel followed by 7 days of pills hurt my baby or make my infection worse?

I have a small cat bite on my hand that is swelling and painful. I was bitten about 4 hours ago by an indoor cat that’s up to date on shots. The pain is constant, sharp, and continual, possibly a strong ache. I’m a 63-year-old woman in good health. Should I seek medical attention immediately, or can it wait until the morning?
