What are the interactions and contraindications for Rocephin (IM), Cipro 500mg PO, and Azithromax 250mg PO, and what are the chances of these causing renal failure? Additionally, should a sensitivity test have been done prior to administering Rocephin, and what could have been done differently for a patient who is now in renal failure due to medication?

My platelet count has been slowly dropping since last fall, from 140 range to the high 90's to 115 range. I have kidney disease and am on the same medications as in the fall, except for doubling my betapace dosage. My hematologist says it's probably medication-related but won't investigate unless it drops significantly. What could be causing this drop and should I be concerned?
