Thyroid question: Ultrasound shows a 1.7x1.0x1.3 cm nodule in the right lobe. Two FNA (10 weeks apart) were indeterminate for papillary thyroid carcinoma. DNA testing reveals a mutation in HRAS. TSH = 2.3 uIU/mL, TPO = 1.1 IU/mL. Doctors recommend right thyroid lobectomy. Are there any options besides surgery? Doctors say waiting is not advised.

I have been experiencing urine burning, throat itching or sore throat, and redness and burning on my genitals. I recently had intercourse with my wife who just delivered a baby (1 month ago). I am on medication like dexilant and other stomach-related meds. I am scared. My STD PCR tests are negative, and the test was done after the 13th day of the last safe exposure. I do not take enough water but have started drinking more since today. What should I do now?

My 25-year-old son has noticed blood on the toilet paper when he wipes since high school. He had a colonoscopy a few years back due to constipation, which came back normal, but the doctor noticed a hemorrhoid. Recently, he noticed bright red blood in the toilet bowl and larger blotches on the toilet paper. Sometimes he experiences burning and itching when he wipes, but not always. His stool color is normal and there is no diarrhea. Is this something serious?
