I think that an antibiotic I was taking caused a yeast infection vaginally. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? I took 1 dose of Monistat. I am 71 years old and experiencing itchiness. My doctor retired, and I haven’t had a pap test in over a year. I am about to get a new gynecologist but am headed to vacation. This is a new issue since taking medicine for an MRSA infection in my foot. My medication is sulfamethoxazole.

I'm 99% sure I did not have sex on July 13th/14th, and I finished my period around then. I experienced pink/white discharge a few days later, which turned redder over time. I had my period on August 7th, which seemed normal but lighter. After that, I had similar discharge, which again turned redder. This month, I had a normal period and took two pregnancy tests, both negative. I'm on a combination birth control pill and have been for 5 years. I'm nervous and unsure if I can trust the negative test results. What should I do?

I have a bruised-looking area on my inner thigh that became tender, leaked pus, and left a scar-like spot. Now, I have another similar area further up on the same side. These areas aren't painful unless squeezed, and they drain when initially noticed. I'm 17 and have never had a pap test or pelvic exam. I used to get boils in that area but haven't had one in the past 6 months. What could this be, and how can I prevent it from happening again?

I have a history of irregular menses, with cycles every 5-6 months, and recently experienced severe GI symptoms leading to an ER visit where an ovarian cyst was found. My menstrual cramps have worsened since 2020, lasting 4-7 days with pain levels of 8-9 for the first 4 days. I have mild scoliosis and had COVID-19 in April 2020, which was followed by recurring GI symptoms and menstruation every 1.5 months. My last period started last week and is irregular. I have normal testosterone/estrogen levels, elevated neutrophils, and elevated CRP. I am concerned about an inflammatory issue or infection in my reproductive system and have right lower quadrant pain. What could be causing my symptoms, and what steps should I take for diagnosis and treatment?
