I am 25 years old and experiencing recurring yeast infections. I take probiotics, keep myself clean and dry, and have been tested for STIs, which were negative. I also have pain during sex and have had irregular periods due to using Seasonique, a three-month birth control. I had yeast infections after periods when I was on the injection birth control a few years ago. How can I address these recurring yeast infections and the associated pain during sex?

Can a gynecologist look at these results and advise me if this means I have Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)? I’ve been experiencing minor pelvic pain and continuous vaginal discharge. Can PID cause bacterial vaginosis (BV)? Additionally, since there is not isolated bacteria, does this mean I have a possible case of ureaplasma or mycoplasma?

With an ectopic pregnancy, is there always bleeding present? I’m concerned because I’ve missed my period, it was due Wednesday. I’ve had lower right abdominal pain today and past couple days. Today it started a stabbing pain. I have been feeling very light nausea but could be related to stress. No, I have not experienced this in the past. I had a Leep procedure done in 2006 and have had normal pap tests for the past three years.
