In the last year or so, the odor of my vagina has gotten worse. My boyfriend says it smells, but I can't smell it myself. I am a heavy-set girl, and my periods just started up again after my birth control implant was removed. Is this a real issue, or is it a natural scent? Additionally, I do get genital bumps/sores and itchiness, but only where the pubic hair should be. I've only had two partners in the last 3-4 months and have not tried any treatments as I've attributed it to shaving. I don't believe they checked for anything else when I was tested for chlamydia.
