I've been experiencing itchiness and irritation outside my vagina for a couple of months on and off. The itchiness is worse in the morning, when I sit down, and at night. My skin appears a little red, and I have very sensitive skin in general. I'm not currently using any medications and have no other relevant medical history. I'm 18 years old, have mostly white vaginal discharge with a slight odd scent, use Pantene shower soap, and am allergic to penicillin. What could this be, and what can I do to make it go away?

I have light green, chunky discharge with no odor, itching, or discomfort. I have one faithful sexual partner and use an IUD as the only form of protection. The discharge has been noticeable for a couple of years and tends to come and go. I haven't had a period since 2011 due to the Mirena IUD, which I change every 5 years. I am also overweight. What could be the cause of this discharge?
