I have had the Mirena IUD since September 2020. Since November 2021, I have been experiencing constant spotting. Recently, there have been blood clots and abdominal pain. The spotting has been stable but has worsened in the last few days. The abdominal pain is mainly in the lower right side of my stomach, sometimes moving to the left side. I also experience dizziness and have a brown discharge, but recently it has been very red with large clots, especially in the morning. I had a normal smear test in November 2021, and I was pregnant three years ago, with my child born in December 2019. I was breastfeeding at that time. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?

I have had my period for over 2 weeks (18 days). I am concerned that it is no longer a period but abnormal bleeding. This is unusual for me. I had a tubal ligation in 2012, no other contraceptives. The bleeding has been stable but comes and goes, with abdominal cramping at times. I am 44 years old and take medications including spironolactone, topiramate, fluoxetine, clonidine, and allergy medication. I had RNY bariatric surgery on 2/23/22 and 2 c-section births. I have had somewhat irregular cycles in frequency for years, likely due to perimenopause, but lengthwise my periods are about 4-6 days. What could be causing this prolonged and abnormal bleeding, and what should I do?

I have been experiencing vaginal discharge for several years. The discharge is white/yellow in color, has an odor (but not fishy), and occurs throughout the day. There is some occasional itching but no burning. I am not using any medications and have not been tested for infections. Could this be bacterial vaginosis (BV) or something else?

I have a sharp pain during intercourse followed by substantial bleeding with clots that subsides within 30 minutes. I believe I have a lesion at the opening of the vagina. Would a lesion cause this type of bleeding, and is there a temporary treatment for this? My medical insurance is not active for 2 more weeks.

I am pregnant and experiencing intermittent light cramping and spotting. My last period was on December 29, so I should be around 4-5 weeks pregnant. The cramping is not constant and lasts only a few seconds, feeling like period cramps. The spotting is very light, just pink, and occurs every few days. I am not using any medications and I am 21 years old. I had a miscarriage in 2018 and a termination in 2020. Is this cramping and spotting normal, and should I be concerned about a miscarriage?
