I had sex on my ovulation day, and my period is set to come on the 19th. I started spotting pinkish today, which I believe is a sign that my period is coming. I took a home pregnancy test that came back negative, and I'm confused about why I am not pregnant. I have been trying to conceive since my abortion in February, and I've had sexual intercourse on my ovulation date, but my period comes earlier than expected with negative pregnancy tests.
