I am a 68-year-old female experiencing irritated bowel diarrhea multiple times a day, especially after urination, along with lower abdomen pain that is tender when pressed. I also have a low-grade fever and cloudy urine. I had diverticulitis and surgery in 2019 but haven't had gut pain since. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My 18-year-old daughter has had unusual periods in the last month. The first lasted five days, which is short for her, and the second started two weeks later and has been going on for two and a half weeks now. Both periods have been a lighter flow than normal, and the second has been a darker color than normal. She is not using contraceptives or medications, and there are no unusual medical history factors. The biggest recent change in her schedule is walking 20,000 steps a day as a freshman in college.
