I am experiencing bleeding between periods after having sex. I have been on a combination birth control pill since March and noticed the bleeding about 28 hours after sex. I am 24 years old and sometimes experience slight discomfort or pain during sex, especially when the cervix is hit too hard. My last period was on the 24th and 25th of last month. What could be causing this bleeding and how long should it last?

I just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant. I used a “weed and feed” fertilizer (Scott’s turf builder) on the lawn at about 4.5 weeks pregnant. I am very worried that I could have harmed the baby. How concerned do I need to be about this exposure?

I was wondering about a weird period. My last period began on the 5th to the 7th of July. I am not using any contraceptives or medications, I am 22 years old, and my doctor suspected an early miscarriage a few months back. My periods are usually 4-5 days long and come every 25 days, but this period was shorter, light, and brown blood, which is unusual for me. This period also came a few days early, approximately 21 days after the last one. Is it possible to have bleeding like this if pregnant, and are hormone imbalances easy enough to fix?

I am 19 weeks pregnant with my second child and am torn between a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and a repeat C-section. My first delivery was a planned C-section due to a morbid fear of childbirth, which I now realize could have been addressed with counseling. My OB says it's my choice, but she was negative about C-sections. I'm concerned about the risks of both procedures, particularly the difficulty in placing the spinal during my first C-section and my rare blood type (O negative). I want to avoid an emergency C-section, but I'm also open to the idea of a VBAC this time. How do I weigh the risks and make a decision?

Can taking spironolactone cause a false reading on a pregnancy test, specifically a serum qualitative blood pregnancy test? Also, how reliable are pregnancy tests? I had sex in January, took Plan B, and have had two small bleedings during my sugar pill week. I've taken multiple home pregnancy tests (HPT) and had both urine and blood tests at the doctor, all of which were negative. I am taking spironolactone and want to ease my mind about potential pregnancy.
