I am experiencing vaginal bleeding and mild spotting, along with ongoing issues of bacterial vaginosis (BV) and yeast infection for over 5 months. I've taken Flagyl but it hasn't improved my condition. I'm supposed to start ovulation soon and have mild cramps. Could this bleeding be related to my ongoing infections, and what treatments would be effective for BV?

My 13-year-old daughter has been experiencing lower right abdominal pain, which was initially thought to be appendicitis but later diagnosed as a ruptured ovarian cyst with constipation. The pain has moved to the center below her belly button and has been on and off for 14 days, with periods of diarrhea. She has undergone multiple tests including ultrasounds, a CT scan, and blood work, all of which have come back normal. No one has been able to provide a clear diagnosis. Can you suggest what might be causing her pain and how to proceed?

I'm 26 years old and have been experiencing recurring thrush for about 5 months. The symptoms include itchiness, burning, raw/sensitive feeling, pain during urination, and a noticeable but not overpowering odor. The thrush tends to recur after sexual activity. I've taken oral tablets and used thrush cream in the past, which helped temporarily. I'm currently not on any medications but had been taking probiotics that helped prevent thrush. What could be causing the recurring thrush and how can I manage it?

I have a persistent UTI and need antibiotic advice. I am also 21 weeks pregnant. I have been told that I have an Enterobacter cloacae bacteria that is not susceptible to Macrobid or Keflex and is susceptible to Bactrim. I would like to inquire about the safety of Bactrim during pregnancy, specifically for 21 weeks in the second trimester.
