I am having cramps and some clumpy bleeding/dark brown discharge. It’s been about 2 weeks since my last period started, which was 10 days late. I started taking birth control pills (norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol tablets) about 11 days ago. Is this a miscarriage or just due to the birth control I started taking?

I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant with PCOS and conceived on Clomid. My hCG levels were 2800 with a gestational and yolk sac seen 4 days ago, but they dropped to 2300 today with period-like bleeding. What are the chances of miscarriage, and do I still have a chance for my hCG levels to rise since the gestational sac is still there?

I had a transvaginal ultrasound on July 28, 2012, which indicated the pregnancy was about 38 days old. Would this date be based on conception or the last menstrual period (LMP)? I am trying to determine who the father is and if the ultrasound date has nothing to do with conception.

I am 30 years old and my menstrual cycles have typically been between 25-28 days long. However, my last 4 cycles have shortened by 1 day each cycle (27, 26, 25, 24), and I am concerned about this new pattern. Could this affect my fertility, especially as I am currently trying to conceive?
