I am on the third week of using a birth control patch and experiencing breakthrough bleeding that is as heavy as my normal period. I used this patch before without side effects, but I stopped for two years and restarted recently. My last period was two weeks ago, and my cycles are irregular, possibly due to PCOS. There are no cramps, nausea, or fevers, but the blood is dark red with clots. I have not changed my diet, weight, or medications, but I have been under some stress. What could be causing this heavy bleeding, and does it relate to PCOS?

When I was little, I let my dog lick my vagina and anus. I'm now an adult with no symptoms or issues in those areas. Should I be tested for anything, and am I okay? I'm in a monogamous relationship and have been tested for STDs. Can I be tested for zoonoses, and would I have shown symptoms as a child if I had contracted one?

I had a miscarriage last year in September, and after that, I had regular periods until January this year. However, I haven't had a period for three months now. I've taken multiple pregnancy tests, all of which were negative. Is this related to my history of miscarriage, and could it be due to conditions like PCOS or ovarian cancer? I'm concerned about my ability to conceive again, as we've been trying to get pregnant.

It’s the week of my period and typically I would be going through a couple of tampons a day, but for the last four days, I’ve just been passing stringy clots when I use the bathroom, with no blood flowing like usual. I’m on birth control (NORG-EE 0.18-0.215-0.25/0.035 TABLET) and have been having cramps on and off. My periods are typically regular, and I did not miss or delay any pills. Will I be protected against pregnancy, and if not, what are the chances of pregnancy?
