I have abnormal periods, varying from 32 to 40 days, sometimes bleeding for 30 days with two types of bleeding: light menstrual bleeding lasting about 2 weeks and occasional bleeding after intimacy with my husband. I have been diagnosed as borderline hypothyroid and am taking thyroxine 50mcg. I have not conceived despite not using contraception since we got married and began sexual relations 1 year 9 months ago. I am overweight with a BMI around 33. What could be causing these issues and what can I do to improve my chances of conceiving?

My husband says that I don’t feel as shallow as I used to, as in he used to feel like he was hitting a wall and now he hasn’t felt that for about 3 months, and said he feels as though he is having sex with me behind someone else. I just don’t understand and there isn’t anyone else. How old are you? How long has this been a concern? Are you using any medications? If so, do you know the dosage? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
