I had a hysterectomy approximately 25 years ago, but recently I've been experiencing numbness that has gone away, replaced by tightness, pain, and a feeling of restriction around the incision site, as well as a belly hangover. The pain comes and goes, and I manage it with Tylenol or heat. I'm 53 years old and have occasional constipation but no burning with urination. I drink water regularly but don't take stool softeners. I had an ultrasound a year ago to check for appendicitis. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do about them?

Hello Doctor, my last period was March 01 /23. I went in for an ultrasound two weeks ago and they couldn’t see anything inside the gestational sack. I was measuring 1 week behind. Today I had another ultrasound and they saw the baby and a heartbeat 139 bpm. The baby was measuring at 6 weeks two days though. I’m 8 weeks pregnant. I had to go in for an ultrasound because I had light spotting two weeks ago. Spotting stopped and I have no problems. I’m very worried why the baby is measuring so small though. My daughter was always on track when I was pregnant with her. This is my second pregnancy.

I have severe pain that comes in waves over my left ovary. My periods have become irregular, with no periods for 2 months followed by heavy bleeding with small clots. The pain is sharp and stabbing. I am 51 years old and have never experienced this type of pain before. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I am having some changes in my period this cycle. I get my period for 8 days, on the last day of my period I barely bleed and have mostly spotting. This cycle, I am on my last period day but I’ve noticed a lot of bleeding, kind of like my beginning days of period. I do have some moments that I just have spotting but I’ve noticed times with a good amount of blood. I'm also noticing cramps which is very different from my usual periods. I don’t have any cramps this late into my period and I’m worried something may be wrong.

I am not sure if I’m pregnant. I had a baby three months ago and have had two periods since then. My last period was September 17-23, and I had sex on September 22. My period is three days late, and I haven’t had any PMS symptoms or bleeding. I have also noticed clear, sticky discharge. What could this mean?

I had a hysterectomy a week ago and last night I went to have a couple drinks and had too many, and me and my significant other ended up having sex and now I’m bleeding. Is it possible I tore the stitches inside? The bleeding has been stable, I'm not using any medications, I'm 23 years old, and I have no other medical history to report. I'm experiencing little abdominal pain after sex, but the bleeding is light, not heavy.
