I have been bleeding heavily in between my period while on Aviane birth control pills for 6 months. This is the first time this has happened, and it started after I stopped the pill for my period about 1 month ago. The bleeding is heavier than my normal periods, and I am also experiencing abdominal pain. What could be causing this and what should I do next?

I received the copper Paragard IUD in early August. For the past 4 months, I have been bleeding almost constantly, typically bleeding 7-12 days with a 4-12 day break before it starts again. I don't have any pain and can't feel my IUD strings, but my doctor confirmed they are there. Is this bleeding normal, and should I see a doctor? Additionally, I am still breastfeeding my 9-month-old daughter, which may be relevant.

My OB has done various tests (hormone, chromosone, blood clot, uterus, sugar) which all came back normal. I'm urgently seeking advice on what to do next to have a successful pregnancy.
