I’m concerned about my vaginal pH. My boyfriend has a reaction every time we have sex. It started 6 months ago, and I’ve had some recurring yeast infections that might have kicked it off. He developed some dry sores/rash type things on his shaft that inflame every time we have sex afterwards. What could be causing this and how can we address it?

I have an IUD and have experienced spotting leading up to my period, intermittent spotting between periods, and throbbing aches in the vaginal area before and after my period. Are these common symptoms of the IUD, or should I see a doctor because it could be something else?

I think I have a vaginal polyp and am spotting lightly. I can't get into the doctor for a couple of weeks. The spotting has been consistent but very light, and I don't have to wear a pad. I am 59 years old, my periods stopped in 2012, and I just had a pap smear last year which was okay. I have been spotting for 3 days, with no abdominal pain, and I used my vibrator only on the clit area on Saturday. The spotting looks whiteish with blood spotting sometimes, and sometimes there's nothing. What could be causing this and what can I do in the meantime?

I recently discovered vaginal and oral warts after a pelvic exam. I have only had one partner in my life and I can’t remember if I got the HPV vaccine as a child. Does having warts mean I have HPV? Can it go away? Is it cancer? If warts have appeared, does that mean the virus will always be in my body? Do you get warts if you had the shot? How do I get them removed? Can I still get the vaccine after they are removed? Is this more dangerous than other STDs? Will this affect my fertility or ability to stay sexually active? Is it possible for a man to give you HPV if they had the vaccine? Are they protected? If they haven't been vaccinated, what steps should they take? Is freezing painful? Can I be put to sleep? Should my partner get tested as well? Do you have to retake the vaccine after some years or just once in a lifetime? How will I know if he is infected? Can he still pass it on? If there are warts in my mouth, how do I take care of that? Is that severe? How likely is it that you get anal warts and are they more severe? Is the process of removal the same? Is the anal exam and process of removal painful? Can I be put to sleep for the procedure? Will the warts appear again? Do they open up the anus or just use a finger to remove? Is it a long process? Can an antibiotic clear the warts or do I have to have a procedure?
