I had sex on Friday night and got my period on Saturday. It is now Monday and I still have my period. I am not trying to get pregnant and have been on birth control pills (Larissia) for two months, taking them consistently at 9pm each day. Do I have to wait until next month's period to take a pregnancy test, and how long do I have to wait after sex for a pregnancy blood test to be accurate?

My wife is taking buspirone and another anti-anxiety medication. She took two at-home pregnancy tests yesterday and they showed positive. She has been on these medications since July 5th and is about a week late than usual but has had irregular periods in the past. Could the start of these new medications cause a false positive test?

I've been exercising five times a week and eating healthy to lose weight because I am pre-diabetic, but the weight is not coming off. Is it because of my Mirena IUD? My hormones are too unbalanced. I'm also at a high risk for coronary heart disease.
