I have a GYN appointment for Friday, but I feel like I need answers now. I've been experiencing cramps similar to period cramps, spotting that has worsened over four days, and small clots. My next period is not due until the 17th. I went to urgent care, but they ignored the spotting and diagnosed it as back strain. I have sickle cell but have never been sick. What could be causing this, and what should I do?

I’ve had a light period for about a month now. I just got off the Mirena IUD at the end of August and don’t remember my last period. I’m 26 and not using any medications or contraceptives. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I had a miscarriage on January 22 and was about 7-8 weeks pregnant with twins. Between February 2nd and 9th, I had unprotected sex but took Plan B. I got a cycle on March 6, which lasted 3 days. I had protected sex on March 14 but took another Plan B for safety. I haven't had another period since, but a home pregnancy test on April 15 was negative. I've been using VCF birth control since March 14. I don't feel pregnant but want to be sure and talk to a doctor. When should I expect my period, and is there anything I can do to make it come? Also, can I continue with VCF birth control until I get a cycle, and when can I insert the NuvaRing?

I’ve been experiencing spotting and cramps the past few days, and a light flow today. I’m not sure if it’s my birth control messing with my cycle or possibly something else. I did engage in safe sexual intercourse within the past two weeks. Do you frequently experience cramping? How long does it usually last? When was your last period? Does it come regularly? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

I suspect I have a UTI, BV, and a yeast infection all at the same time. I'm currently using clotrimazole pessaries for the yeast infection but don't know how to treat the BV. I'm concerned about the interactions between different treatments and the potential side effects of antibiotics for the UTI. Additionally, I'm anxious about seeing a male doctor for this issue and am considering whether I should ask for a vaginal swab, be tested for trich and gonorrhoea, and if I should be referred to a gynecologist.

I've been experiencing nausea, light cramping in my lower abdomen and on the right side, and light bleeding for the past three weeks. I also have a history of regular periods and have been raped twice. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
