I have a long history of herpes (29 years) with sporadic outbreaks. Recently, I had a massive outbreak accompanied by intense pelvic/groin pain and the presence of yeast and bacterial vaginosis. I was treated with oral medications, steroids, and Valtrex. I also developed painful, hard, red, swollen lesions on my calf and labia, which I suspect might be related to shaving. Could these lesions be related to the herpes outbreak or shaving, and could they be a resurgence of a previous staph infection? Additionally, why did my GP diagnose both yeast and bacterial vaginosis when they cannot coexist, and how should I treat the current yeast infection?

I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and all show faint pink lines in the result window. I read that evaporation lines do not have color and if the line has color, it's a positive result no matter how faint. Is this true, and what should I do next?

I missed one pill during the second week of my active pills, doubled up the next day, and experienced bleeding for a week. I missed another pill the next week, and the bleeding has persisted for about two weeks, varying in color from dark brownish to bright red. Should I stop taking my birth control pills to let myself bleed without the hormones, or should I continue taking them as normal?

I had an abortion 5 weeks ago and experienced bleeding for a week, followed by a normal pap and HPV test last year. I am now experiencing a whitish/yellow discharge that looks like a booger, here and there, and have not yet gotten my period. I had hormone and thyroid bloodwork done recently but not a full CBC. Do I need a CBC now to ensure everything is okay?

I think I have endometriosis. I am 30 years old and experience severe pain during ovulation that sometimes prevents me from walking, constant indigestion, and painful periods. Additionally, sex is painful. My last Pap test was about 4 years ago with normal results, and a vaginal ultrasound at that time showed my right ovary was larger than the left. My family has a history of endometriosis, cysts, fibroids, and polyps, with some having hysterectomies. My dad has had colorectal cancer. What should I do?

My daughter, who is 17 and has been on Tri-Linyah birth control for about two and a half years, recently experienced a two-week long heavy period, followed by a break and then another heavy period about a week later. This is the first time she has had this irregular pattern. She is under significant stress due to her senior year activities and has not missed any pills. Is this normal, and what should we do?
