I have a Mirena IUD that was inserted in July 2021. I began bleeding during intercourse and am concerned that it may have shifted. I also have some inconsistent lower abdominal discomfort and haven't had a period since getting the IUD. The blood was much brighter than what I would normally get from my periods. I used to feel the IUD strings but haven't been able to in a while. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My girlfriend had a sharp pain in her lower stomach in the morning that made it difficult for her to walk, and she felt something respond when she pressed it. The pain went away after she pooped. Can this be related to pregnancy, and does the timing of the urine sample for a pregnancy test affect the result?

Hi, my period is supposed to come in a week and I've been having frequent urination and the urge to pee after I went. I'm using contraceptives, my last period began on March 24, and I'm taking Zoloft. I'm 18 years old and had a negative UTI test. I don't have pain, burning, cloudy urine, foul odor, fever, chills, blood in my urine, or significant lower abdominal or back pain. I've been feeling slight period cramp-like discomfort. What could be causing these symptoms?

I have intermittent back pain that worsens after intercourse. I don't have any known medical conditions and am taking supplements and Aleve for pain. This issue has been ongoing for about a month, and I recently had a normal abdominal ultrasound. I don't have a vaginal exam scheduled until May 1st. The pain is dull and migrates, and I have had harder bowel movements but regular bowel movements almost every day. I also have more discharge than normal, which is clear or white and has a normal smell. My last period was on March 18th, and it was bright blood without clots. Sometimes during intercourse, it feels like something pops, and my back hurts the worst after sex. Could this be related to pelvic inflammatory disease or an ovarian cyst?
