I have a vaginal itch and redness. The area inside is reddish, and I have a little bit of red spots around my private area, which is also swollen a bit. The itch flares up whenever I wash it with vaginal wash. I've had this for 4 days now and would like to know what to do. I have a husband, and we had sex before the redness and itch came. I also have PCOS and started taking berberine. What could be causing this, and what immediate treatment can I use for the itch to lessen?

I've been experiencing yellowish discharge and a weird odor from my vagina for about 3 weeks, which has been constant. The discharge is of a moderate texture, not too thick or too liquidy. My periods are regular, with the last one starting 29 days ago and the current one just starting today. I've only had oral sex with one partner in the past 3 months and have no unusual cramps, itchiness, or other symptoms. I've never had an STD screen or been diagnosed with an STD.
