I have a yeast infection. Do I need to see a doctor? I went swimming in a pool and ocean this past weekend and it started to emerge around Monday. I haven't had one like this before. I've had BV and a UTI in the past. Just wondering if OTC meds would work or if I need a prescription.

I have had a Nexplanon for over a year after having a Mirena. I have not had periods for over 8 years, but recently I'm experiencing random, heavier bleeding and sharp pain on my lower left side. I also have increased fatigue and a history of Crohn's disease and ovarian cysts. I am concerned about the possibility of cancer due to my family history and abnormal Pap smears. What should I be concerned about and what steps should I take?

I believe I have a UTI. I have had them before and this feels very much the same. Discomfort when urinating, constant urge, difficulty passing urine, only small voids. I looked with a mirror and everything seems quite inflamed and 'open'. I can see a lot more than I can normally see with just a mirror. This has me a bit freaked out as I can see a little bump on the swollen area just below my urethral opening as well as many bumps (rough pink toned skin) just behind it. They are painless to the touch and don't seem to be fluid filled. I have never seen that part of my vagina so it has me wondering if that is normal? I am further concerned as there may have been a possibility that I was exposed to herpes approximately 24 days ago (very low risk as it was not direct contact and the individual that had it was not having an active outbreak - this is what my doctor told me). I have been for two doctors exams since as well as a blood test on day 3 (which came back negative). Am I overreacting or could these UTI symptoms actually be herpes?
