I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and only menstruate once every 6 months. I stopped taking birth control in May and am trying to get pregnant, but nothing has happened. What should I do next?

I remove my Gellhorn pessary weekly and clean it myself with soapy water. It recently fell into the commode. Can I clean it with rubbing alcohol? I am 69 years old and have been wearing the pessary for about 8 years. I am not using any medications and have no other relevant medical history. Additionally, there is some bleeding. Can I put the pessary back in right away?
