I have been experiencing severe lower abdominal pain for two weeks, along with symptoms of bacterial infection in my lower pelvic area, yeast infection, and possible Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). I am currently taking Ultram for pain, doxycycline, and a vaginal cream, but nothing seems to be working. My doctor suspects a staph infection in my pelvis, but there are no signs of it. What could be causing my pain, and what should I do next?

Symptoms started Tuesday, I have not had similar symptoms before, and I have not been diagnosed with any STDs previously. This was not a new partner but we hadn't had sexual intercourse for 6 months prior, and I don't know the status of my partner's STDs. I have only had one partner in the past couple of months.

I have been randomly bleeding for a few minutes and a lot from my vagina. It is fresh blood and I'm 2 weeks away from my period and have been taking my pill on time.
