I have been experiencing severe vaginal and rectum itching and burning with urination for about two weeks, which comes and goes many times daily. I have tried clotrimazole antifungal cream and canesbalance for bacterial vaginitis, but neither has worked. What could be causing this and what can I do to get relief?

I have prolapsed pelvic organs (bladder, vagina, and rectal prolapse) and my gynaecologist suggests I need surgery, but not urgently. I'm 63 years old, have had two vaginal births, a vaginal hysterectomy, and a previous small operation for the same problem. My symptoms include slight incontinence, occasional difficulty passing bowel movements, and pressure in the pelvic area when standing for long periods. Should I have the surgery sooner rather than later, and will it likely need to be repeated in the future?

Over the last 2-3 months, I’ve been bleeding more often than not, which is more than just spotting between periods, and I’ve been experiencing PMS symptoms along with it. I’m on Nuvaring and it’s fairly steady, although today I noticed it’s a bit heavier. I’m also on Cymbalta and I’m 28 years old. I’ve had abnormal Pap tests in the past and have had a cervical biopsy, but my last two paps came back normal. What could be causing this and what should I do?
