I have had my hormonal IUD (Mirena) for a year in June. I am still experiencing irregular bleeding between periods, which is light spotting and has been happening for a couple of months. Is this something I need to worry about or is it normal to have irregular periods with a hormonal IUD?

I am on birth control pills and have been for 5-6 years. I recently started taking phentermine and am experiencing breakthrough bleeding, which is dark brown and minimal.
